Reinel opened FCI of Houston Heights in 2016. After 20 years working in the oil industry in Colombia and Texas, he followed his passion for entrepreneurship. He enjoys making clients happy with every work completed by his team. He likes that he can directly serve his community. His volunteer work has focused on serving his local church, as an advocate in the LGBT community, and running. Currently he serves as lector and volunteer in the All-Saints Catholic church in the Heights. He is member for Greater Heights and LGBT Chambers of commerce. He is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys traveling.
Oscar Paredes joined FCI of Houston Heights in 2019. Since joining FCI, he has successfully managed multiple projects delivering high-quality solutions. Oscar grew up in the construction environment and later became an Engineer in his native country, Venezuela. As a Project Coordinator, Oscar enjoys being involved with all the details related to each project while delivering high-quality standards and bringing innovative solutions. Oscar is proud to coordinate each project at FCI of Houston Heights, regardless of how big or small; always focusing on customers’ vision for the end solution. He loves dogs and fully supports the Humane Society of the United States – and usually drives around Houston with his lovely furry assistant, Liffey, an 11-year-old female Beagle. Oscar also enjoys a healthy lifestyle and is an avid CrossFitter.
Cyndi joined our team in Feb 2024. She began her career in hospitality as an event planner for hotels and resorts for social and corporate groups in Miami, New York and the Canary Islands. She worked as a production manager for fashion photo shoots and fashion shows, until she found a route to interior design, her passion. After moving to Houston 10 years ago, she dedicated her time to renovation and interiors working primarily in residential homes for Airbnb rental. For 3 years she was an in-home designer for Smith & Noble where she created designer custom window treatments for her clients. Now a Design Associate for Floor Coverings International, she has never been so thrilled to join such a well-regarded team. Bringing all her expertise in design and interiors to her clients at FCI in West University and Houston. In her free time, she’s usually dancing salsa, learning French or watching manga with her 9 year old son.

Chris was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and has always been inspired by the transformative power of home remodeling. With a couple of years of experience in the flooring industry and a background in life insurance, Chris currently works as a Design Associate. He loves developing relationships with customers, understanding their visions, and helping them choose floors that will bring joy and beauty into their homes.
In his free time, Chris enjoys archery, bowling, and volunteering to help the homeless. He also looks forward to the yearly chili cookoff at his church, Christ the Redeemer.
