Poor communication and disappointing workmanship. The final floor had areas that felt less solid than expected, and the overall result did not match what had been discussed. The main problem was the lack of transparency about subfloor conditions and how they could affect the finished product. That should have been addressed before installation, not after. I would not use this company again.

I had a lot of companies provide estimates and they spent a lot of time justifying the cost, but Troy was the only one I trusted. That’s because he was adamant about doing the job in the right way— where I would have a beautiful new floor that would last for years and years. He helped me understand the “what” and the “why” behind the different proposal elements. He is responsive and shows up on time. His team arrived and completed the work as scheduled. His pricing is competitive. Their work is amazing. I will be using Troy and team again for another project later this summer and I’ll be recommending him to my friends and family.

Troy and his team were extremely helpful throughout our townhouse flooring renovation. He was always prompt with his responses, very knowledgeable about the products, and took the time to answer all of the questions my wife and I had. He gave thoughtful guidance on which materials made the most sense for our lifestyle, especially as we think about growing our family and long-term resale value. We ended up going with an engineered hardwood and a really beautiful runner for up our stairs. As someone with a busy work schedule, it was incredibly reassuring to have someone so reliable and responsive managing the process. The project was smooth and low-stress from start to finish. I would absolutely work with them again on our next renovation project.

We opted to use FCI to redo all flooring and stair carpeting in our basement in Wilton. We need to mindful of heavy rains and protecting against run-off – Troy gave excellent recommendations on what materials and products to go with.
