We went this with this company because of high reviews/recommendations. Everything started off great; good communication, good plan, great flooring options, etc. Project was able to get started about a month after estimate was given and took about the length of time to complete that was estimated. We had our main floor of tile demo’d and replaced with LVT. Demo went fine, kept the house decently clean but small damages were left such as scratches on the wall, damaged vents, and wall paint damage from plastic sheeting. The new flooring itself is great, but we were extremely dissatisfied with the finishing touches of the shoe mold and other aspects. We came home after the project was “done” but there was brown caulk stains on our carpet and a pile of caulk left on the new floor. Scratches on the brand new floor where an appliance had been moved. Transition pieces caulked in and the carpet sloppily secured back down, not even secured back down around the stairs. Gaps in shoe molding/poor work, like they truly didn’t care. We had the project manager come out the next day and he didn’t seem very phased by our concerns. Kept making excuses and solutions weren’t helpful, no offer of reducing bill. He did have carpet cleaned professionally and transition pieces ordered for replacement, but only offered to replace shoe mold at cost price to us to pay. Extremely frustrating, whenever I show friends or family these pictures they audibly gasp and say that looks terrible. How can someone see this and think “Wow, my crew did a really good job”? We will end up taking the time/money to replace shoe molding and fix transition pieces ourselves to make it look professionally done. We had high hopes using this company but are disappointed by the final execution/how the situation was handled.

We had an excellent experience with Floor Coverings International and are very pleased with the repairs made to our kitchen floor. Jason was the only businessperson who demonstrated an interest in repairing sections of our 10-year old hardwood floor, all other contractors were only interested in a full floor replacement which would have cost us 5x more. He took the time to properly assess the damage and discuss pro's and con's of different solutions. Since the floor was 10 years old, we worked together to ensure a good match. Jason ordered some samples for me and we compared them side by side. He was also an excellent communicator - proactively informing me when the flooring arrived and scheduling the work before my family hosted guests. His installer could not have been more courteous and efficient. I asked him to replace 3 extra floor boards and he graciously completed the work. He also repaired a number of scratches to the floor. He thoroughly cleaned up the dust as if this were his own house. If you need a good floor/carpet contractor, look no further than Floor Coverings International!

Karlos came out and gave us a quote to do the flooring in our nursery with samples around our budget he was super friendly and professional! The installers were quick efficient and did an AMAZING job! They went above and beyond and fixed 2 of our transition strips that had broke in our hallway. Very happy with the whole experience we had with floor coverings international would HIGHLY recommend!!

I love my new flooring and new carpet in the bedroom. It opens everything up and makes the rooms appear larger. Jason and crew were very professional and did an outstanding job. I highly recommend them.
