Highly recommend this company. It is a locally owned small business. Dan is extremely responsive and attentive and made the experience of choosing the carpet and installation easy, pleasant and efficient. We are extremely happy with the result!

Absolutely terrible customer service. We scheduled an appointment with this flooring company, rearranged our day to be available — and they never showed up. No call, no message, nothing. We tried reaching out multiple times by phone and email to follow up, and were completely ignored. No response at all. It felt like we were ghosted. If this is how they treat potential customers, I can only imagine what the actual service would be like if we had hired them. Totally unprofessional and disrespectful of people’s time. Avoid this company if you value communication and reliability.

New management would be the best way to improve this business. Poor quality workmanship low value as I had to tear out the floor they installed and hire a new company to install an entire 1200 sq ft of wood flooring They wasted all my money and did not stand behind their warranty.

I never write a review about a service provider unless I have a positive experience with the company. But I'm going to make an exception with Dan and Floor Coverings International of Raleigh. It cost us almost $12,000 to have 1,200 sq ft of new wood flooring installed in our home. Within 1 week of the installation the floor started to bulge and floor boards started "cupping up". The issue continued to get worse over the next several months throughout our home. We asked Dan to explain why the floor was "cupping", a term for the boards bulging and pulling away. He said we had a moisture problem. and there was nothing he could do. We had to replace the floor because our guests were tripping over the floor boards. Prior to having a replacement floor installed, we had the concrete subfloor tested for moisture and the test proved the floor was extremely dry. Moisture could not have been the problem with Dan's installation. Since then Dan refuses to return our calls or emails. We didn't receive any reimbursement of our $12,000, and were unable to save any of the wood that he installed (an additional $9,000). We received no value for our money and experienced poor quality workmanship and terrible customer service. Fortunately, when we replaced the floor, we used a different company called FootPrints Floors. Shawna and her team were extraordinary! Our new floor looks fantastic after FootPrints installed it.

Extremely disappointing experience. The work was rushed, uneven, and full of flaws — and when I raised concerns, they became unresponsive and dismissive. I expected professional service and got a costly headache instead. I would absolutely not recommend this company to anyone. Nails are popping up under the LVP.

We just had our entire floors replaced and they are the best I have ever set foot on. Dan and his crew were very professional, punctual, and communicated throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Raleigh Floor Coverings International!
