We recently replaced the carpet in our master bedroom and guest room with hardwood floors. After scouring the internet, I came across FCI’s impressive reviews in the Lake Norman area and knew this was the company with whom I wanted to work. We were not disappointed! FCI is a well-oiled machine. All of their employees are highly experienced, professional, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. We love our new hardwoods and the project could not have been executed more smoothly! We will not hesitate to use FCI for future flooring projects.

Very pleased with Floor Coverings International. Neil and Mitch were nothing but professional. We appreciated their responsiveness with communications and precision with accommodating our needs. I would highly recommend them for your flooring needs! This time we ordered additional flooring from original installation. Just want to add we love our floor and they did a great jog with installation!

Our new LVP floors were installed yesterday. We replaced the existing carpet in our master bedroom and closet. The floors look amazing and match the floors throughout our home perfectly. Excellent quality, workmanship and customer service! The owner, Beth, accompanied the installers on day of install. She was very professional and friendly. Neil was great with the beginning stages of our project. He went out of his way to match our current floors to ensure we had the correct product before purchase and install. He also followed up with a call after the install was complete. Great overall experience!

Our experience with Floor Coverings International was very disappointing. In our opinion, the project lacked proper oversight, and we encountered multiple issues including damage to our home, defective flooring, and poor communication. Despite raising concerns early, we did not feel our complaints were taken seriously, and the situation escalated unnecessarily. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this company. Update: I stand by my original review. Management was not present to supervise the work, damages were not properly addressed, and the molding that was sourced multiple times was of very poor quality. I’m sharing my honest experience for others to be aware.
