DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY. If I could this place would get zero stars. Extremely unreliable, 3 appointments, 3 cancellations. Didn't care about the customer or customers time. Doesn't seem to need or want the business. Would NEVER recommend this company

We had an amazing experience with Floor Coverings International in Novi, MI! I sent a request for quote and had a call within a few minutes, appointment to come look at our space to be carpeted within a day. Our job was small and I wanted custom carpet- the owner Trent went above and beyond to set up a new vendor so he could order the exact carpet I wanted so I didn’t have to. He worked with our schedule, as we had other things we had to complete first in the room before carpeting. Both Trent and the project manager Amanda were very proactive with communication and responded to my questions quickly. Carpet installer did a great job and I love the finished product! I would highly recommend!

I had the Novi branch of FCI replace carpeting throughout my home. Unfortunately, they did a very poor quality job. Many walls were scraped during the installation process, and with regards to the carpet itself, there is one section which was done piecemeal and does not blend well (see picture below). I have been in contact with the owner Trent about redoing this section since the installation in September 2024, and have even have left over carpet in my basement which I told him we could use - but he’s giving me the run around, claiming he’s having trouble finding a matching dye lot, promising redo installation within the week but then no call or anything, etc. I guess it’s my fault for paying in full before this issue was fixed. Cannot recommend this company to anyone looking for a detail-oriented, attentive and caring carpet installer.

Julie came in and provided all the samples we needed to pick our best option. Her install crew was absolutely phenomenal. They really went the extra steps to take care of my home while I was gone for the weekend. I love my new floors!

They were great! The new owner is very professional. He gave us a free estimate and explained the process. It was a stress free install, my carpet is BEAUTIFUL. I would definitely recommend to friends and family!!! 10/10

We had an overall fantastic experience with Floor Covering International, Novi. Jeff arrived on time for our appointment. He offered us a variety of choices in tile, laminate and carpet. He was very knowledgeable. The mobile showroom was a wonderful feature. We were able to keep samples so we could view the carpet under several different lighting conditions. Installation was also a good experience. His crew arrived on-time and they were fast, clean and efficient. We love our carpet and are happy we chose the Courage Comfort memory foam padding. We would highly recommend Jeff and his company.
