*Edit to respond to owner* Satisfied is an inappropriate term, I'd say obliged to end our dealings. I also think you mean discounted bill that I had to chase you around for and email you over several days to get you to comply with state law for said damages. You were also extended the opportunity to review the insulation work and declined. I'm sure it was a million times better than your proposed solution of just having "Rusty stick [the insulation] back up there". And to clarify, you did question me, for days about it. In no world is 2 months on a 6 day project prompt. I would have been satisfied, had you not treated me or my home the way you did. Part of me wants to give 1 star but I will say the laminate looks beautiful, I had no complaints about that. The Subfloor on the other hand is a point of stress for me as I have no way to verify the work since no photos were taken despite being promised photos of the progress. What started as a cordial, even friendly business relationship quickly turned into a combative, toxic situation as soon as I had issues with the work “completed”. Numerous “misunderstandings” occurred, including the insulation under my house turning up seriously damaged despite being told to my face that it was absolutely fine. Yet my licensed insulation guy told me, “no, that was peeled off, there’s no way they didn’t know. It was rude that they didn’t even clean it up”. Or how despite the contract stating the sink would be moved, despite Michelle telling me to my face, everything moveable would be moved, despite other plumbed items being moved, when I came home and found trim hiding the vanity/sink that had not been moved or tiled under, she stated “oh that’s a misunderstanding, we need a plumber for that”. The disrespect to my home was hugely appalling. My hose was left on long enough to waste 3000 gallons out of a tiny seal leak by the nozzle. Most of my lights were left on, AC controls switched to continuous and my front window left open despite no one being in the house for at least 24hrs. My belongings that were nicely placed on my front porch were rudely shoved into a corner, some items were broken and all were thickly covered in sawdust. Frames were broken, the bottom of my vanity was broken and scratched up, multiple workers poured cement water and black grout water off my porch into my front lawn, I literally had to tell them to stop doing that. Strips with nails sticking out and power tools were left laying around in non-work areas where my toddler could have stepped on them or otherwise hurt himself. My electrical panel was accessed without permission for an outlet we know doesn’t work and could have just told them. Crate paper was cut with a box cutter over my brand new dining table. I could go on. Above all, Michelle’s attitude was really the thing that just drove me into a reserved kind of rage. When I brought up issues with the work, I was met with “it’s my day off, this is why we do walk throughs.” despite there being a huge gap in my shower area that went straight down to the subfloor which prevented me from showering. Silly me, I thought it would be okay to call on the day they would have been working on my house if they hadn’t “finished” a day early. My toilet was rocking like it was coming off the ground, which it never did before, along with the sink issue and all the tiles being crooked in my bathroom and laundry room. Not small issues, huge glaring ones. From that phone call on, she treated me like I was trying to swindle her, get one over on her or otherwise take advantage of her. It was so bad I sought legal counsel and demanded all communication be in writing from then on. The issues did get fixed eventually, but a 5 day project turned into nearly 2mo. This was a few weeks ago and now my floor transitions that were fixed twice, are coming up again, in areas where the previous transitions were fixed for 10+ years without issue. Absolutely abhorrent, I completely regret hiring them.

The entire crew is outstanding including the Owner and their Project Manager. However, the installation crew specifically Gilbert and Marcus are exceptional. From dust control measures to demolition and the installation of the floor tile was done professionally. They took every step necessary to protect the home from dust and debris during demolition through the installation of the floor tile and the final cleanup. We are completely satisfied and pleased with Floor Coverings International and the services they provide. The quality is impeccable, worth every cent !

My experiences with this company was amazing. Michelle was there when she said she would be. Her flooring people were on time, very polite and professional, keep me informed of everything they were doing and most of all did a fantastic job. I would not hesitate to refer them to anyone.

Floor Coverings international did a phenomenal job restoring our shower in the master bedroom in 12 days. Michelle Johnson assisted us in picking out the perfect tiles and mosaic shower floor for our glass enclosed shower. Their staff did a perfect job installing the new wall and floor tiles. They did an excellent job overall and we are happy with the results. They also provided recommendations for plumbing and glass companies. We would not hesitate to call on Floor Coverings international again to do another job. Their main goal is for total satisfaction guaranteed. From Charles and Sandra H!

Keith and his crew did a fantastic job installing new flooring throughout our house. After visiting the big box stores and being underwhelmed by the lack of flooring options we headed over to Floor Coverings International and they did not disappoint. Keith is knowledgeable, responsive, and great to work with. We will definitely be a repeat customer for future projects.

Purchased carpet for my son’s house that he just bought. Michelle made everything seamless and easy, she literally brought the “Showroom to us”! I called her on a Friday, she came out and measured on a SATURDAY and by the next week, carpet was installed. Padding was more than I expected, way above standard, and the carpet was high quality. Pricing was amazing, quite shocking considering what the big box stores charge. Michelle and her crew left no trace of ever being there except the beautiful new carpet. All old carpet and trash was hauled away and the house was left spotless. Truly a great experience…I will absolutely do business with them again and spread the word to friends and family.

Great experience working with Keith and his crew to do one full bath remodel and a tub to shower remodel in our master. Excellent pricing, love the tile we picked, and a very talented professional tiling crew. Highly recommend, will definitely be using them again for our flooring needs.
