We have worked with Floor Coverings International Oak Park on three projects: floor tile around our fireplace, pre-stained hardwood flooring in our attic, and wall tile for our kitchen backsplash. In all instances, we were very pleased with the process and the final product. Working with Kurt and his team has been a real pleasure. The communication is easy and they are extremely helpful in recommending resources. They make sure the job is finished to your satisfaction.

From beginning to end, our experience with Floor Coverings International in Lombard, Illinois could not have been better. Mike Gagliano came to our home to discuss our project and to present us with the best options to upgrade our existing floor coverings from a combination of carpeting and vinyl to wood laminate throughout. The process was transparent and ethical, and prices were very fair. Communication with Mike and Norma was always professional (and personal, in a good way). We felt that they really cared about us and were patient as we asked a lot of detailed questions about what to expect. The actual installation was completed by Jose and his crew with absolute perfection. Jose was an excellent communicator, and his team really went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure everything got done on time, with respect for our property as well as for our neighbors’ privacy, and without unnecessary disruption to our own routine. They even moved our heavy old dual-oven range out of the way from inside the kitchen to our crowded attached garage, and did so with great care. I heartily recommend Floor Coverings International to anyone wanting to beautify their home. We love how everything looks and feels. Thanks to Mike, Norma, Jose and others for a job well done. K. Mike, Norma and their team are very professional from early planning until finished project. They took out old tile and carpeting, prepped the subfloor and installed an engineer hardwood floor throughout the main floor which is beautiful. Dedicated, hard working crew were very polite and caring. We highly recommend their services.

Floor Coverings International did a beautiful job of staining my hardwood floors. I chose the ‘Chestnut’ stain. Luis and Luis taped up thick plastic and zipped it, to restrict debris from other areas of my home. They were always on time, courteous, and professional. They moved my large furniture around, without any damage, and were very helpful to me. Owners Norma and Mike were very nice and caring to me. Great job!
