With more than 25 years of experience in public affairs, communications, and community relations, across private and public sectors including corporate, franchising, and nonprofits, Eric decided to embrace his entrepreneurial spirit. His passion for home remodeling and customer service led him to join the Floor Coverings International franchise team as an owner of an Atlanta-area franchise location in November 2024.
Originally from Central Texas, Eric attended Baylor University, where he met his wife, Ali. They made Alpharetta their home in 2011, along with their three children and a number of pets including a dog, several cats, chickens, and a duck—affectionately referred to as the "Abercrombie Family Farm."
When not at home, you'll likely find Eric and Ali enthusiastically supporting their children at soccer games, cheering from the stands at baseball matches, or enjoying school musicals. They also cherish their time together as a family attending North Point Community Church.

Michael is the owner of Floor Coverings International of West Atlanta, which he opened in 2023. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics and received his MBA from Georgia Tech, Scheller College of Business. Michael spent over a decade working in the corporate world prior to opening his Floor Coverings International location. He is passionate about providing top-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction. Michael was born and raised in Atlanta and is an avid fan of all the city’s sports teams. His hobbies include golfing, traveling, and spending time with his wife and three young children.
Kim is the local owner of Floor Coverings International of Brookhaven and lives in the Buford Highway area with his wife and child. Before starting his local business, Kim helped people and teams achieve high performance at The Coca-Cola Company, AT&T, BellSouth, and other Atlanta area employers
As a resident of DeKalb County, GA, since 1987, Kim has invested in his community as much as his business. Through his "Floors That Build Futures" campaign, Kim directs a portion of proceeds from every flooring project delivered by his business to support local high school seniors bound for the skilled trades. He believes investing in the area's youth makes his business and his community stronger. He also believes everyone deserves 5-star experiences for their flooring projects.
Carly has a varied professional career spanning three decades including mystery shopping, the Atlanta Falcons, and the Cybersecurity industry, having completed her MS in the field from Georgia Tech in December of 2022. A Business and Computer Science graduate of Oglethorpe University with an MBA, she grew up working in her family’s tax and accounting business and has a deep passion for corporate social responsibility and giving back to the community. A high school multi-sport varsity athlete and valedictorian, Carly played basketball in college and still dabbles in rugby, Gaelic football, and Australian rules football in her free time. Her teamwork and attention to detail ensures this team delivers for its customers.
Miguel discovered his passion for cooking at the side of his grandmother over three decades ago in a little parish in Jamaica called Trelawny. Beginning with award-winning sauces, marinades, and rubs – he now creates wholesome, chef-inspired meals for all types of occasions in his spare time. Before emigrating to the United States in 1999 and starting his own business, he was head chef at Jamrock Sports Bar & Grill – an internationally known hot-spot in Kingston. A graduate of the Culinary Arts with further education in Political Science; Miguel has extensive experience hosting cooking demonstrations and opening new stores for Fortune 100 companies. His creativity doesn’t end in the kitchen as he has extensive experience in home repair and remodeling as partner in a rental real estate business with his other half Carly. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and playing soccer. His care and passion for serving dishes with love will be evident to our customers as he consults with them to ensure they can find the floor of their dreams.
Jennie is the owner of Floor Coverings International Northeast Atlanta branch. The branch has been opened since 2017 but she took ownership in 2021. She upholds the highest standards when it comes to customer service, product quality and installation and takes pride in the 5-star ratings that she receives from her loyal customers. She has a background in brand strategy, menu strategy and innovation and has assumed most of her career in corporate marketing. She loves to lead and build high-performing teams. She brings a sense of design and style into every appointment to help beautify customer’s homes with new flooring. Her passion, dedication in striving to be the best flooring company in her local communities is showcased on a daily basis. She enjoys spending time with her 10 year old daughter, checking out new restaurants and loves keeping up with the latest fashion trends!

I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where I served as an executive member of the AXO sorority.
